Although the Hall of Flame Fire Museum is a significant part of Ferrymead Heritage Park we do not receive any income from the park's admission charges. When you see our collection you will understand that we have a continuous need to attract funding to maintain and restore our fire appliances and other displays.
The obvious way is to make a cash donation, either for general purposes or specifically for the building fund. Go to the Donations Page.
We are always using building materials, such as timber, MDF, paint, etc. to maintain existing displays and to develop new ones. We also need support with keeping our technology up to date, digital printing of photographs, and such like. Email us to Discuss.
Membership of the Society is open to people with an interest in the preservation of Fire Service history and heritage. Membership is subject to an application and acceptance by the Society. Download Application Form.
You might prefer to make a small contribution each year by becoming a member of a supporters group rather than a full membership. Supporter membership is open to everyone on application and payment of an annual donation. Download Supporter's Form.
Some people will appreciate the work that we do to preserve fire service history and feel that they could make a contribution to our work that extends beyond their live time. With as much sensitivity as possible, we request that you consider us when you make or review your Will.
